From a Tailor to a Landlady
Rebecca Kemunto Nyakwara
For years Rebecca sewed clothes from a small rented stall in Rionchogu, her income too thin and unpredictable to plan beyond the next week.
Through a Good Neighbors Project SACCO she began to save, then borrowed against those savings to grow her tailoring business — and, in time, to build rental houses. Today she is a landlady, employing others and educating her children with confidence.

Relief That Reached 4,000 Households
Emergency Food Distribution, North Horr
When prolonged drought and flooding left North Horr’s pastoralist families without food, Good Neighbors Kenya moved fast — flagging off 96 tonnes of maize flour, beans and cooking oil.
The distribution reached 4,000 households, easing hunger for thousands of children and their parents and buying families the time to rebuild their livelihoods.
