Why this work matters
Climate change is escalating the frequency and scale of disasters, and the majority of victims are children, women, and the poor.
Emergency support helps families overcome immediate shocks, while advocacy strengthens the systems — formal and informal — that protect children from abuse, neglect, and exploitation over the long term.
What we do
Our focus on the ground
Disaster & food relief
We respond rapidly to drought, fire, and floods with food, mattresses, blankets, mosquito nets, and school supplies for affected families.
Child-rights advocacy
We firm up community systems and partner with local actors to protect children, shape policy, and create space for civil society in decision-making.
Awareness & global citizenship
Through the Day of the African Child, the Global Youth Network, and public-health campaigns, we build awareness and youth leadership.

From the field
Feeding 4,000 households in North Horr
In December 2024, as drought and inconsistent rainfall left North Horr’s 4,000 households food-insecure, Kenya Good Neighbors brought emergency food relief to Marsabit County.
That same year, when fire left 15 Korogocho families homeless and floods hit Mukuru, our teams responded with bedding, food, and school supplies worth millions of shillings.
